Frequently asked questions — NeoReviver® Anti-Fog Spray for masks and goggles
What is NeoReviver anti-fog spray for?
Anti-fog in a spray format for diving masks, swimming goggles and snorkelling and scuba masks, suitable for glass and polycarbonate. It is compatible with silicone seals and standard frames. Also known as anti-fog spray or mask defogger.
How to apply anti-fog so your diving mask doesn’t fog up
- Clean the inside of the lens with fresh water (remove salt, dust or grease) — the key to “how to stop your mask from fogging up”.
- Spray the mask anti-fog spray 1–2 times on the inside.
- Rub and spread it well with a clean finger or a soft cloth until the whole surface is covered: rubbing creates the anti-fog film.
- Leave it for a few seconds and, if you prefer, rinse very lightly before diving.
How long does the anti-fog effect last when diving, snorkelling or swimming?
It provides long-lasting protection against fogging. How long it lasts depends on the temperature difference, ventilation and sweating. If you touch the lens or dirt gets in, reapply the anti-fog to your goggles or mask.
Is it safe for glass, polycarbonate and lens coatings?
Yes. Suitable for tempered glass and polycarbonate with standard coatings (anti-scratch/UV). For special factory coatings, test it first on a corner.
Does it work on new diving or snorkelling masks?
Yes. First give the inside an initial clean with warm water and mild soap (to remove manufacturing residue), rinse, then apply the anti-fog spray following the steps and rubbing it in.
Does it leave any smell or residue on the lens or the silicone?
It leaves no visible residue or greasy feel. You may notice a mild scent while wet; once dry, there is no smell.

Storing the anti-fog spray
Store between 5 °C and 30 °C, away from direct light and with the container tightly closed to maintain its anti-fog performance.
Precautions for use
Avoid direct contact with the eyes. Do not swallow. Keep out of the reach of children. In case of eye contact, rinse with plenty of water.
Which anti-fog format suits me?
The 100 ml spray is ready to use and fits in your hand luggage. The 750 ml one is for frequent use or for refilling the small one. The 500 ml concentrate is diluted 1:3 and makes 2 litres. The 10 and 25 L containers, ready to use or concentrated, are for centres and schools.
